The FOREST RECORDED MUSIC SOCIETY was founded in 1956 and we are now in our fifty-fourth season.
We present evenings of classical and light classical music on CD played on first class equipment. Programmes are presented by the members themselves and we have three guest speakers each season, usually professional musicians who talk about their lives and careers. Some very famous artistes have visited us, singers like the bass Robert Lloyd, Valerie Masterson and last season Dame Felicity Lott.
We welcome new members. Evenings are relaxed and informal affairs and you don't need to know anything about music to enjoy them.
